Entertaining non fiction about walking. It looks at walking from many different angles and the author is pretty funny. I picked this up on a whim at a sale because i adore walking and hiking. It didn't disappoint. 4 👟

A very interesting and entertaining book about walking from a wide variety of aspects/perspectives: physical, spiritual, historical, locations, literary, photography, and music, to name some of them. It was different than what I was expecting, but it was still a good read. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

SharonGoforth @Lakesidemusing It is! So far he's discussed all the different words and their origins used to describe walking, and now he's in LA walking to discover the locations that could have influenced Raymond Chandler in his Phillip Marlowe stories. And I'm only on page 60! 9y
