I‘m on the last episode of this podcast and ready to flip tables and run through walls. After all of these years as a secondary English teacher, when I could not fathom how kids reached my 11th grade classroom not knowing how to read, and as a parent who was told repeatedly “he‘ll catch up”, there are finally some answers. If you care about education or literacy or simply right from wrong, listen to this podcast. Eye-opening and mind-blowing.

Oh, hey! Since I'm up anyway, might as well dnload and read the COL short, "Liars and Thieves." In this story, the nine travelers have been ambushed by thieves who also have no qualms about killing. Not sure why Adela, the young pregnant woman is leading the horse instead of Cygnus, who takes care of, and has a way with the mare but it all works out! I'll give "LAT" a 3.5 and a Pick for adding some more detail to the COL world.
