Plot was too convoluted. Did not enjoy this nearly as any of the 9 or 10 other Leonard novels.
pick🎧 Jack‘s an x-con working at a funeral home. One day he‘s sent to a leper's hosp to pick up a corpse that turns out to be a live girl escorted by an x-nun. The girl‘s an x-gf of a Nicaraguan colonel who's ordered her dead for trying to infect/kill him with an STD. The x-nun is looking to save the girl & maybe take some of the colonel‘s millions, who better to help than an x-jewel thief. Jack, sister Lucy & Franklin were great characters! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
