pickFinished my #HandbagBook while waiting for my daughter at the optometrist. I've had the book for years but I've never read Disher before. I enjoyed this tale of crooked cops, corrupt magistrates and relatively honourable criminals. The female characters were better than average for this kind of thing, but I could have done without the apparently compulsory random sex scene.

CarolynM @LeahBergen Good question. My usual handbag only fits small books, so I might go for another old one that's been sitting on the shelf for awhile. I probably won't decide until next week. (edited) 5y
