This one is Quiz Bowl Antichrist - written from the point of view of a high school quiz bowl team's resident literature expert. Page 14 is sadly unquotable but page 16 contains this gem.

pickFinished my #HandbagBook while waiting for my daughter at the optometrist. I've had the book for years but I've never read Disher before. I enjoyed this tale of crooked cops, corrupt magistrates and relatively honourable criminals. The female characters were better than average for this kind of thing, but I could have done without the apparently compulsory random sex scene.
