This book tells the story of Rosa Parks growing up to the day she decided to stand up for herself and the African American community. I think this book does a great job at proving an abundance of details on the life of Rosa Parks and on the civil rights movement in the United States. #UCFLAE3414F17

Sabrinac The ESOL strategy I will use will be number 50, For content comprehension use a variety of comprehension activities, such as; strip stories, KWL activities, SQ3R, learning logs, role playing activities, close strategy, etc. I will use this one because, my lesson plans involves the comprehension activity, KWL charts. 7y
Sabrinac The UDL strategy I will use will be number 1.1, Offer ways of customizing the display of information. I will use this strategy because, rather than having my students simply write billeted notes, I will have them construct a chart to display their notes. 7y

AJones This B would make an excellent addition to any lesson on civil rights. ⚖️ I also like the KWL teaching strategy. This form of questioning gets our students more involved. Great job on tying in your UDL and EL strategies. Hopefully you have a SMART board too; kids ❤️ technology. 7y
