The Sin du Jour crew has been through a lot & along the way landed themselves in hot water with their boss. To rein them back in the head honcho goes to an extreme though & two of the crew find that instead of serving the menu...they're on it. It's up to those left behind to locate and rescue their colleagues before they become a supernatural snack. This one's a tad darker than the others so it'll be interesting to see how the final book will go.

I would have enjoyed this much more if I had read others in the series. Still, it got the heart racing with great action, made me feel for the characters, and made me want to read more of this author. Super gross, but it's cannibals: that's gonna happen.

It is worth noting that this is published by Tor.com, content from authors that was previously only available online. Good for us codex fans! @bookbrag

Reading this novella now and generally like the premise of a group of paranormal restaurant workers being imprisoned in some sort of purgatory for foodies. But this book does not stand well alone. I have no idea what's going on half the time. That being said, it DOES make me want to read more of the Sin Du Jour series. I love the characters and premise so far. @bookbrag

Sace That does sound interesting. 7y
DogEaredBooks It is a good series! It‘s a weird, funny premise and only gets more ridiculous. I really like them. The first one is 7y

So the series has been getting less and less funny as time goes on, and more and more serious. Not that that's a BAD thing, mind, as I appreciate it immensely, but this go-round... Oh boy. Bad Things happen, people.

But with that being said: it's clear that there's a spectacular conclusion in the works. It‘s gonna be BIG - and I so, SO cannot wait XD.
