A shadow spills across the Empire. Kostan sits upon a splintering throne. Savra huddles in a makeshift cell, awaiting the judgment of those she betrayed. The land grows dark with the blood of Prov and Atal alike. But the true threat lurks deep beneath the earth. The Breaking strains the bones of the Empire, ready to shatter the land and destroy all life. Two prophecies agree: humanity has thin hope. But they also disagree.
