The baby in the nursery is not your baby. Waking up after an emergency caesarean, you demand to see your son. But it's someone else's child. No one believes you - not the hospital, not your father, not your loyal husband. They say you're delusional. Dangerous. They suspect you want to steal another baby. All you know is that you must find your own child before he's out of reach forever. And you're a doctor - you would know if you were losing your mind. Right?

Mehso-so

Eh. It didn‘t grip me as much as I had hoped, and it dragged in a lot of areas. But didn‘t take too long to read

I have so many books on my TBR pile but this one spoke to me from the shelves in Kmart and I couldn‘t ignore it.

RadicalReader @Jhullie I swear my TBR stack is the offspring of Miracle Grow and magic beans 6y

Pickpick

This was such a good read but so emotional too. It deals with some very difficult issues around birth and miscarriage but is written very well. The mental health issues are prevalent in this but again handled well. The story is fascinating and scary at many times. The ending really does make you think but it was cleverly done.

The baby in the nursery is not your baby.

Waking up after an emergency C-section, you demand to see your son.

But it's someone else's child.

No one believes you - not the nurses, not your father, not your loyal husband.

They suspect you want to steal another baby.

All you know is that you must find your own child before he's out of reach forever.

And you're a doctor - you would know if you were losing your mind.

Right?
