Ooh what a fabulous steamy romance. Perfect summer/beach read. It is quite steamy though but i enjoyed it. The plot was fun and interesting. I loved the character developments between Jade and Liam. The ending was sheer perfection for the story. I am a sucker for a story like this so it did not disappoint. I must say however that as much as i loved Jade, she's fun feisty and sassy. I did love Jeremy more. He was so brilliant #Netgalley 4*
This was an interesting story. However the main mystery with the little boy got lost in all the other parts of the story. There's a lot going on so it takes time for it all to come together which is does by the end. This does also lightly touch on sexual abuse but its not a big part of the story though I expected it given how the story was going. The ending was interesting and a clever twist though I did have a little bit of an idea about it. 3*

1: I do have my own little library now. But too many to count.
2: tagged above. I love the Sarah Scribbles series. They're very relatable.
Wow what a read this was. There were so many twists and turns along the way. The story isn't told in the traditional sense but by podcast transcripts, emails and other media forms. It gave a real modern feel to the book. The plot itself was clever and the ending a little dark yet perfect for the style of the book. I loved Tom and his little dog. A modern mystery. 5*
A really interesting look at getting rid of things. Lots of tips and methods for deciding what to keep. A simple easy read. Though I disagree about the book parts. You can never have too many. 4*
This was such an interesting read. I liked how it led you down one path with what might be the reasons only to turn it near the end. I actually found that clever. I especially enjoyed how it was all explained. The plot jumps timelines a bit and follows Maisie and a detective throughout the story. It never gets confusing and it really allows the story to develop. The plot is fascinating and i was easily hooked. #Netgalley 4*
This was very much a cosy murder mystery with a modern Agatha Christie feel to it. I loved the location and the uniqueness of the locked room side of the mystery. I have to admit that I wasn't totally sure on the killer as I was too busy enjoying the ride to the big reveal. It made sense and its a recognised way but I liked it. The plot was simple and fun. Mimi is brilliant and I loved Addie too. The ending was perfect. Netaglley 4*
This is such a powerfull and deeply moving story. It takes a different look to a crime and really focuses on the aftermath. Especially when there is no instant capture. We truly see the pain and suffering that can be caused. Its heavy going at times and yet so well written. You read about cases in the press and online but never think about just how reaching a trauma like that can be. This is told by both Isabel and Edward. #Netgalley 5*
A fun and colourful easy read to home decor and entertaining. 4* first time reading outside in the garden. Beautiful weather here in sunny Norfolk.
This is quite a unique horror as its told from the view of a child so we see everything through her eyes. It's a different take. The plot is creepy and a little sad at times. You can't help but feel for Bela in this. A child facing adult situations. The ending was how I figured it would end. I'm not sure if I liked it and yet it worked for the story. The atmoshpere is well built in this and definitely not one to read late at night or home alone.
A really simple and interesting look at how to declutter and organise your living spaces. It comes with a simple method and worksheets for each space. Helpful and laid out beautifully. 5*
Well this was quite the thrill ride. You're just never sure where it was going to go until it did. The plot is clever and well written. The book had me hooked from the start and the ending didn't disappoint either. I loved how it all came together with the various stories. It's creepy with a modern twist but real because these things can happen. A great creepy thriller. 4*
As a big fan of thriller stories, I quickly recognised this type of story and figured out what might be going on. That being said it was still a good read. Its an easy thriller that you can just sit and read. The ending was good and i did like the very final diary entry. That was cleverly done. The book is told by Claire in the present and her diary entries plus flashbacks to her past with her mother. #Netgalley 3*
Wow this was sucha great read. I was hooked right from the start and it just kept delivering right to the end. I must admit that wasn't how I wanted it to end and yet it was perfect for the book. It ended right for the story. The story jumps between past and present as we learn how everything went down and what connections are made. The final reveals are clever and there's many twists that caught me by surprise which I really love. #Netgalley 4*
A book of hacks and tips to get through everyday life with kids. This is mostly aimed at parents with younger children but i still saw some handy cleaning and travel tips.
This is a real slow burn and takes a while to get into the story but it was interesting to see how it would turn out. It's told from Saffy and her mother in present day then dots back to the past with Rose. The plot was filled with some clever twists leading to an interesting if slightly sad ending. It was how the book should end though. A thriller filled with twists and Lies. 3*
Book related to the TV show of the same name. This just helps explain their 3 steps in a simple way. More of a whole home decluttering but still full of useful tips and cleaning strategies. 4*
Well this is quite the slow burn until close to the end when it suddenly picks up. That ending though wow. I just knew it , I knew the truth. This is quite a dark and twisted story getting into the real heart of family lies and secrets. It does take a little while to get into it but once I did, I needed to know how everything fit together. The plot was interesting and kept me on my toes which each new twist and lie was revealed. #Netgalley 4*
Wow this was so good. The atmosphere created by the author is brilliant. Its eerie and creepy as you need it to be. The plot was clever and well written they're are many twists along the way you just dont know which way it will end up. As for the ending , it was brilliant, dramatic and bittersweet. Just how i wanted it to end. The writing is descriptive and you can easily picture yourself there. I really liked George. #Netgalley 5*
An interesting look at tackling clutter and chaos in life. I loved the toothbrush theory as it makes so much sense. Really useful and gives you actual exercises to help get started. 4*
An interesting look at decluttering, tidying and cleaning. This is by the TidyDad Instagram and it's a good read with some useful tips. Plus a bit of humour along the way.
Wow this was such a good read. I will admit there were a couple of sections i had to skip because well they grossed me out. Feet related antics are not my thing, plus another scene which was too much. Beyond that the story is funny, heartwarming and joyful. There is a fair amount of sex mentioned in this but its not overly graphic and often quite humerous. I loved how it was divided up into months and built to a perfect ending. #Netgalley 4*
An interesting look at many aspects of life and how to deal with them. There are some good tips and advice in here. 4*
Oh wow this was such a great twist on the traditional murder mystery story. I loved the drag element and I think this could be such a fun series. I certainly want to read more of Misty's adventures. This is book One setting the scenes and introducing us to everyone. The plot was really clever and i love the final big reveal. I had figured out some of it but not all of it. Misty is amazing as is Joe . #Netgalley 4*
I really wanted to like this and the premise sounded great but sadly it failed to deliver. It was a long read and the pace never seemed to pick up. I read onto the end to see how it would finally all play out and there was a couple of interesting twists but it didnt make up for the rest of the book. I struggle with the unreliable narrator style stories as they can feel disjointed and you don't connect with the lead. #Netgalley 2*
Well this was very dark and thrilling. Its a little slow to start but once i got into it. I was hooked. Its told in past and present throughout the book, slowly building up all the connections. I found the plot really interesting and the big reveal was clever if rather twisted. This deals with a lot of trauma and grief so its tough going at times. The ending was really good. Bittersweet and sad. Yet just a hint of hope for the future which I liked
Well this was a creepy thrill ride. I must admit that I found the first part set during the war more gripping than the second. It wasn't until the final showdown that I was hooked to the second part. That being said it was still a really good read. Such a creepy and at times twisted story. There are some rather questionable family dynamics in this. The ending was really good though #Netgalley 4*
I am such a fan of Grady Hendrix's books, they're always so unique and thought out. You just never know quite what to expect. This was no exception. It was a dark and twisty, suspense filled ride. Its a little slow to get going as the scene is being set but the drama soon ramps up and I was gripped. The plot was clever, creepy and heartbreaking at times. I really liked Rose but had a true soft spot for Holly and all she went through. #Netgalley 4*
A collection of short stories with a paranormal feel.
Well this was a creepy set of stories. Bar the last one they are all horror stories. The last one was more emotional and I think my favourite as it really hits the reader hard. I also really liked Memento Mori that was clever and creepy. Those two were the longest. The rest were shorter. A good collection for anyfan of paranormal or horror stories. 4 * #Netgalley
An interesting look at decluttering. This takes a different approach to many other books of similar style and yet it's a method that could work. I liked the simplicity of it and can see myself using some of the tips featured in it especially the dishes as seen by my clear worktop. 3*
#12Booksof2024 Final day okay a day late. Another month with a couple of five star reads but I think this was my favourite. What a ride.

#12Booksof2024 Day 11: November
I had a few five star reads this month. The one tagged above and the secret Christmas bookshop were my fave. Not sure i can pick one.
@Andrew65
A thought provoking gentle look at the art of death cleaning. It's a clever idea and would benefit family members after a death. It's full of tips that could relate to any age group and has made me think more about what I have.
#12Booksof2024 Day 10: October
Moved into new house and fell down a wormhole of decluttering, organising and cleaning. This was so useful and colourful. I'm still not this organised nor ever will be but I'm okay with that.
@Andrew65
Wow this took quite a twisted path. I knew something wasn't quite right but it did catch me by surprise. I love when a book does that. The plot is twisty and dramatic leading to a clever, thought provoking ending. No-one is overly likeable in this but it works for the story. A great festive thriller.

Well it's officially 2025 here in the UK so HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all. Hope it's a good year for everyone.
Seth finds himself trapped in the snow only to be rescued by an elf on a sleigh. He's now about to have a truly magical Christmas and maybe some old family ties can be mended.
Aww what a sweet christmas story. I really enjoyed this and will check out the others in the series. Its funny, sweet and touches on some tough stuff too like loss. The ending was really good and finished the story really well.
#12Booksof2024 Day 7: July.
This was a review book that caught my eye and I found the story fascinating.

Day 24: Angel. This is the one on our tree. Our old one fell apart quite literally but it's always been tradition to have an angel over a star.
