⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sigh, the end of a series is always bittersweet. This one pulled on my heart strings in the end. 🎧 💞

✨ My reading goal is to read 80 books. Last year I set it at 60 and ended with 92 so I figured I'd bump it up a bit.
✨ Motivated. I've been lacking motivation for some time now. It's time to dig in and really begin enjoying life instead of just living it.
✨ Tagged. Absolutely enjoying the final book of this series.

I'm sad this series has ended. I'm even more sad with what happened at the end. ☹️ I'll definitely be reading her Witchlands series, hopefully she doesn't crush my heart like she did with this series.

So I just suffered emotional trauma from this book and need to get on a conference call for work, a moment please... Excellent if painful ending for this great trilogy. I think it's my favorite of the trilogy due to the Egyptian theme. These were recommended to me as zombie fiction for people who don't like the ickiness of typical zombies, and I agree, and further recommend them!

I honestly didn't expect to like this as well as I did. The first book got off to a slow start for me, but it picked up toward the end and the pace continued evenly through the second and this, the final book. I was blindsided by the end, though-Daniel dies. And she doesn't get him back. And I'm more okay with that than I would have been if he'd come back to life.
