Having never read a MTH Book I was super excited to read this book. It being #39 left me wanting to read more. Jack and Annie are off to another wild adventure to 1870‘s where they find themselves coming in contact with The HMS Challenger. This book is third in the Merlin Mission' set and is a great addition. While this F /HF book has not won any awards, the series is known by many as a fantastical journey to read.

JessicaRosell Like my post for Wishtree by KA, this book can be used in an LC, utilizing the link to Scholastic‘s post about LC‘s. https://tinyurl.com/y6z7wry6. Through cooperation and collaboration in small groups, touches on EL 2 and UDL 8.3. 6y
DrSpalding I am so happy you finally read a magic treehouse book. This series has inspired many young children to read multiple books about two amazing characters. 6y
dayuso1 Great choice! Books like MTH show how influential cover art can be for young readers. A cover like this would make any kid want to know what's going on. Illustrators are so important! 6y
