Bailing on this one.... finding it slow and although the story is getting interesting, the writing is getting irritating. And the fact that one character starts nearly every sentence with “Tarnation!”, is very annoying. 👎

I‘m halfway through and although it has been a bit of a slow start it‘s finally picking up.

Getting into a new book by a local author. The author lives half an hour away from me. Looks good! #readlocal #canadianauthor
