Anyone else get wary of books with kids in them? I sure do. It‘s so hard to capture that crazy spontaneous mindset of a child but I should have known better than to doubt #annabethalbert! Her books are always so real & filled with amazing characters. I found it so hard to put this one down!! Loved the push/pull of the two MCs as they juggled unexpected parenthood and dealing with so many feelings...love, loss, regret. It was all there in spades.

I read a ridiculous amount last month thanks to a couple of readathons and a commitment to shorter books, and I'm pretty happy with the results. I read two 5-star books back to back (the other was THE STORIED LIFE OF A.J. FIKARY) and four 4.5-star books, and I had my queerest month in a long, long time.

I also read 18 books I've had for more than 7 months, and reduced La TBR by 29 books total counting stuff I abandoned. Yay!

2BR02B Jeez, you are hardcore! 👏👏👏 6y

Y'all, I love this book so much that I might forgo my daily Wolverine so I can keep reading it. And I'm only 62 issues from parting ways with Wolvie (ie, finishing my 2-year X-Books project), so that's saying something.

UwannaPublishme I don't think Wolvie will mind if you take a little break. 😁 6y

My first acquisitions of July. I missed my shot at an ARC of SQUARED AWAY so I've been waiting for it to go on sale, but yesterday I remembered I had enough Harlequin Rewards Points for a free ebook. Now it's mine!

LONELY SHORE was on for $0.99 as part of Kobo's Canadian authors sale. It's the sequel to my current read and I plan to dive in later today.

I won this in a giveaway from author Layla Reyne. Not my favorite cover. Mark refuses to act on his attraction to Isaiah at his sister & Isaiah‘s cousin‘s wedding. 6 years later, Danielle & Cal have died in an accident & Mark & Isaiah are trying to figure out how to take care of the kids long term. Slow burn #romansty but the ending was a bit rushed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
