When George Bolton returns home to Devon at the end of the war, Rita assumes that her childhood sweetheart will marry her as they had planned. Loved this so much 🙌🏼 love Santa Montefiore‘s books and her style of writing. The book starts off as a romantic novel but has twists and turns along the way which makes it difficult to want to put down. 5/5 😊
