Its an ok book in my opinion...
The story line is not really interesting...Maybe its because of the way its written...The essence of the story captivates reader's heart for a while ...When you read it, you are suppose to feel patriotic (not so for me because I am not from India) but for me, some part is unnecessary and some part was finished in a hurry...
By the way, the story is supposedly based from a true story..

I wanted to read it sooo badly. I was very excited about it since the day I heard about the book and the movie getting released. It is one of those very rare cases in which the movie releases before the book but it had reasons for it. I would suggest and recommend the book and the Bollywood movie 'Raazi' to everyone. I would not disclose anything about it, you should give it a try. I was a little disappointed but overall it was very nice.

The transformation of a simple girl into a shrewd spy should have been the foundation of the book. The emotional rollercoaster that the character would have gone through never really shines through. You neither identify with the protagonist nor do you feel her pain.
For the sheer fact that this is based on a true story it is worth a read.
