#blackhistorymonth recommendations
Each year throughout February I recommend a book a day for Black History Month

A nonfiction book about Hughes travels. This book is amazing. He speaks about traveling with no money, about the friends he makes a long the way, and the challenges he faces. He also speaks about race and how he is treated differently in different countries. All while writing in his lyrical, poetic, gorgeous style.
