Yes, this book was full of tropes, but I still enjoyed it! It was a quick read about spies, supernatural abilities and Victorian era.

I received this book from the publisher to review. Overall this book did not disappoint my expectations at all. It had twists and turns that I couldn‘t even anticipate and it kept me guessing the entire time. I loved watching Felicity grow from a meek commoner to a Morgana Agent who is comfortable with herself and who she‘s become. I am eagerly anticipating the next book in his series and I most definitely recommend you check this one out!

There are a lot of tropes used in this story & they are so easily recognizable that they cross the border into that of a cliché. That can be a turn off to some readers but would be appreciated by others. I found that I wasn‘t the biggest fan once the story moved to the school for assassins because I felt that I thought “well of course you did that” in a sarcastic tone one too many times.
