I think some of my favorite writing in this vol. is the explanation of why salt is the zombie‘s weakness. It‘s culturally flavorful for us outside of the narrative and inside it is the essence of the sea, so disrupts the devil fruit power that is keeping the zombie animated. I just think that‘s brilliant.
