esurient @Crewgurl That is so thoughtful of you! That link directs unfortunately the 2014 short story, which had been expanded to a novella and reissued in summer 2018. https://dearauthor.com/book-reviews/overall-a-reviews/a-reviews/review-the-ninet... 6y

esurient @Crewgurl The publication rights to the 2018 novella seem to have reverted to the author, and I'm no longer seeing it available in the big online bookstores. I think I'm stuck hoping she re-authorizes it as a self-published work. 6y

esurient @Crewgurl That's so kind of you! I'm just so mad at myself. The publisher was aboveboard and announced the publication cessation in November, and I thought at the time, 'Oh! I want to look through their entire backlist, spend a few hours browsing, pick up some things.' ...and then came the onrush of the holiday seasons and I completely forgot. grr. 6y
