so-soIt‘s just short of a pick for me but that could be because I‘ve been distracted. It‘s a decent urban fantasy and it looks like there‘s the possibility of a relationship of some sort between the MC and gargoyle (I read the descriptions for books two and three). The MC is kind of woe is me and it‘s a bit off putting because it goes on far too long. Her best friend, however, is kind of a badass. #GenCon2018
Getting back on track and got to some weird stuff in the book. I should finish today. So far, it‘s not a bad story and I‘d probably finish the series but right now I don‘t think I appreciate this enough to stand in line for an autograph. #GenCon2018
I spoke too soon. The potential bad guys have a name - not gonna say because that would be a spoiler. I will say there‘s a spellmason so that‘s gonna be some of the magic.
I was reading a Max Gladstone book and it wasn‘t keeping my attention so I switched to this one. There‘s a gargoyle and a secret association of some sort and I don‘t know who the bad guys are yet. This just might be a winner. #GenCon2018
