Solitaire, bougon, acariâtre – certains diraient : seul, aigri, méchant... –, Ferdinand Brun, 83 ans, s'ennuie à ne pas mourir. Son unique passe-temps ? Éviter une armada de voisines aux cheveux couleur pêche, lavande ou abricot. Son plus grand plaisir ? Rendre chèvre la concierge, Mme Suarez, qui joue les petits chefs dans la résidence. Mais lorsque sa chienne prend la poudre d'escampette, le vieil homme perd définitivement goût à la vie... jusqu'au jour où une fillette précoce et une geek de 93 ans forcent littéralement sa porte, et son cœur. Went to France, visited a bookstore, asked for recommendations on French authors. Left with arms full of pockets, most of them with a big touch of fun. Loved this one - grumpy old man slowly defrosts to smartass neighbour girl. Near the end things got a bit cheesy but enough surprising turns to keep going!
