I have a thing about which mug I use for coffee each day. I don't have many, but those I use mean something to me. I chose this one today because it reminds me that I can do hard things, even when terrified. (And babbling. And maybe crying a little - go ahead and Google "Knife's Edge." ...I'll wait...See?!) My hard things right now don't require hiking boots, but I am going to have to pull myself up by my bootstraps. First, there's work to do.
As a gift a gratitude from a former client, I received this book almost a year ago. Since then, it has resided peacefully with its bright orange cover on my bookshelf, waiting until I heard its call. Well, I hear it now, which is only surprising because my inner dialogue is SO DAMN LOUD, I didn't know I could hear anything besides my own voice. Things are not good, spiritually and mentally, around here. I need to reignite my 🔥! Or, kill someone.
