so-so

Book 1 of the Crew series. I have to say this was meh for me. Which disappointed me as so many of the reviews for her books are so glowing. I had a hard time connecting with the character and the storyline. There was so much included but it seemed a mashup of ideas instead of a fluid plot line. The story did improve...enough for me to download book 2. I hope it continues to engage me.

mavey I've only read, Tijan's 'The Boy I Grew Up With' in the Crew Series. It was nice with a sweet childhood sweethearts trope! 4y
