KristiAhlers @MatchlessMarie thank you. He was a cropduster and his engine caught on fire. He lived for 3 weeks but his lungs were horribly damaged due to the smoke, fuel, flame and sulfur dust he was spreading and passed due to the lung damage. I'm still stunned. So heartbreaking. 2d

This one won't be a winner for everyone. It's very dense with the political aspect as well as the dynastic elements at play. Since I LOVE history I found this to a very interesting read...however it does not read as a “page-turner“ and many may be put off by that. #bookspin @thearomaofbooks

I watched a documentary on this topic with the author participating with telling about her interaction with Sam Little. It was really interesting and scary at the same time. I decided to throw in a nonfiction read about art. I found this one to be a very good read if you're not a well read art nonfiction reader. Plenty of information. I perhaps loved this read due to the fact I've seen many of these artists works and have visited some of the locations that were inspirational for these people.

OMG have you ever had a book you yell at in hopes you can turn the narrative to something else? Yes, pointless but I still did it. This was so nerve wracking to read but still I couldn't put it down. Wow! First in America we aren't taught much about this conflict so I came in with a little knowledge conflict wise...but little to nothing about Churchills involvement. This man was so daring and audacious at the same time. This reads like a fast paced thriller...not what it is a very informative #nonfiction read. Highly recommend this one. #bookspin @thearomaofbooks

MommyWantsToReadHerBook Hmmm sounds interesting and I'd never heard of Churchill's involvement, but I think it would make me too angry to read. Interesting how the people controlling the narrative get to call the other side "rebels" - and I suppose they damn well were! From the description the book sounds very pro-colonialism and Kitchener was a horrible man with the blood of countless women and children on his hsnfd 4w
