Honestly I'm not a huge fan of dystopia type novels...which this is...but at the same time Lark and Rainy were two characters that drew me in...until they didn't. This book was so incredibly emotional. Frankie was a character who was so complex but at the same time so very simple and real. I know people are complaining about the romance aspect of it...bit I feel they are missing the point of the relationships formed in combat.
