pickReal talk - I‘m not sure I completely understand everything I just read. But my god - it was beautiful! Douglas weaves Jamaican history, music, and Rastafarianism (something I knew nothing about and had to look up as I went along) into a story about Bob Marley dying then returning to Earth for seven days in the body of a homeless man. Totally strange and brilliant and glorious. Very experimental in format, so it‘s not for everyone, but I loved it.
