Pickpick

This traditional literature book gave us insight on how the beliefs of people back then might of been. It showed a glimpse of how history could've been, (with a twist.) It also contains a repetitive structure where Hansel and Gretel always went off each day until leading up to the big point of finding the house!

This story talks about how a an old lady wanted to eat poor kids that were starved so she tried fattening the boy up and lured these kids in with a magical candy house! In the end, the kids won and gained riches, however with how long they were gone, their mom died which i found really sad.
