#BiblioMAYnia Day 12: This picturebook bio is #AboutANurse, an army nurse, who is also known as the author of Little Women, Louisa May Alcott. Few people may actually know this about her. Kathleen Krull has done an amazing job in making Louisa May‘s early experiences as a fearless Civil War Army Nurse and a struggling writer so real and keenly-felt by the reader. Louisa May Alcott is famous for "Little Women," one of my all-time favorites, and this beautifully illustrated picture book does justice to her intelligence and spirit.
