panI‘m not a huge fan of insta love, mostly because I find it a bit unbelievable, and this one was over the top for me. I don‘t want to say much because I read it with the #LittensLoveRomance group. Also, it was a bit boring for me. But it did have its good moments!

pickEnjoyed this sweet hockey romance! It‘s a fake dating and grumpy-sunshine, but it‘s also clean, so if you must have spice in your romance, then this might not be for you.

pickUsually with short story collections, there are some I really like and some I really don‘t. Not the case with this one! I did like all the stories, all capturing the Indian immigrant experience.

It‘s way too hard to narrow down to 3 faves, but in the spirit of Thanksgiving, I‘ll say 1) turkey 2) pumpkin pie 3) gravy. Before I had to go gluten free, I‘d also say ALL the bread, but no longer, because GF bread kinda blows.
But one thing I really want to try on the list is one of those whiskey cranberry slushes! 😆

panI had high hopes for this one but it was a slog to get through. My main gripe is that its genre is categorized as romance, and it is so not a romance! The FMC and her supposed love interest aren‘t even introduced until about a third of the way through, and they hate each other pretty much the rest of the book. Not until the epilogue is it clear that they‘ve become a couple.

pickA cute short story with plenty of Thanksgiving vibes! I haven‘t read any other books in this series, but based on this, I would check some out. It‘s kinda hard to find Thanksgiving books, so I tend to appreciate them when I do come across them!

pickI love, love, love AIC and this book was well researched I thought. I learned things I didn‘t know already, and it was great to read how the band formed. It was really heartbreaking to read about Layne‘s struggles with addiction. The fact that he was reclusive and died alone is devastating. Like Cobain, it‘s so sad to think of what could‘ve been.
