My husband is originally from Indianapolis and rooted for them growing up, hence the Colts snowman. My maternal grandparents were die-hard Cowboys fans, so I grew up rooting for them. Back in the day when the Troy Aikman Hallmark ornament came out, I bought one for me and one for them.

Delightful! Read for #LittensLoveRomance and I just had to finish up ahead of schedule. Loved the multicultural holiday representation, but mostly loved the two female MCs, Anna and Maryam. They‘re two very different women, and I loved seeing their friendship blossom!

Another one of our #holidaytraditions is that every year each of my girls picks out a wrapping paper and that‘s what I wrap all their gifts in. During the first part of December while I‘m in the process of wrapping all the gifts, they love to look under the tree to see their presents growing in number! This year my oldest picked Snoopy and my youngest the holiday pets.

Did this little cross stitch on memory of my beloved Bailey, who we lost in 2015. He was the best boy ever and he was like my first child. I had dogs growing up but they were ultimately my parents‘ responsibility, so Bailey was the first living thing that I chose to love and take care of. I still miss him but have so many awesome #memories. 😢

This was a reread for me for #LittensLoveRomance. I read it 2 years ago and still stand by my original review - it‘s just okay and the MC is a doormat for most of the book, which makes it hard for me to root for her. But, the ending is hopeful, so that‘s something! It was fun to discuss with the group, though.

This was a cute little Thanksgiving read! A hot Scot football player stuck in the States over the holiday and an American MBA student clash while trying to deny their attraction. And it‘s pretty funny - I LOLed several times! The ending was very, very abrupt so you‘d move on to book 2, but I wish it hadn‘t been.
