A new Needlecraft mystery from the USA Today bestselling author of Blackwork. Owner of the Crewel World needlework shop and part-time sleuth Betsy Devonshire heads for the Minnesota north woods to renovate an old cabin. But beneath the awful linoleum is something even uglier- the skeleton of a Nazi. Betsy's investigation yields the site of a former German POW camp, a mysterious crocheted rug, and an intricately designed pattern of clues to a decades-old crime.

Throwback to yesterday, when I took a great #audiowalk while I finished another of Monica Ferris‘s fun Needlecraft Mysteries. Unfortunately, I ran out of water and the only restaurant along my route didn‘t accept my only payment method, so the last part of the walk was way less great.

Pickpick

Another cute cozy mystery featuring Betsy Devonshire and her friends, this one involving a surprise corpse in an old cabin and a decades-old murder. I kind of guessed where the ending was going, but still enjoyed this one a lot. I loved the free cross stitch pattern at the end of the book so much, I ran out and got supplies to do it! First time I‘ve done that with one of the free patterns in this series.
