Her Favorite Color Was Yellow is Edgar Holmes' debut collection of poetry. It is an ode to his muse, his all-consuming love, his everything- how it feels to find love, lose it, and get it back. Pour yourself some coffee and curl up with this book to let yourself feel something beautiful and true. - Edgar Holmes' second poetry book, For When She's Feeling Blue, is available now. - edgarholmesauthor@gmail.com

I know poetry books aren't really meant to be read in one sitting, but I've been upset today and I was searching for something to comfort me. I was going to go buy this but discovered it was free through Kindle Unlimited. There were quite a few poems that hit me pretty hard, including the one pictured. I loved it a lot. I'm definitely still going to invest in a physical copy because my favorite color is also yellow and it has such a cute cover!
