THE INTERNATIONAL AMAZON BESTSELLER The latest page-turner in the highly recommended AGATHA CHRISTIE BOOK CLUB series. This time a woman is discovered dead on a blanket during a moon-light screening of Evil Under The Sun, with hundreds of witnesses and not a suspect in sight. How did no one see the killer strike? How did no one hear the victim scream? And how could the book club be lounging nearby and miss the whole event?! When local detectives hit a brick wall, the amateur sleuths channel their inner-Miss Marple to investigate. What eventuates is a battle of wits between the beloved friends and the Homicide Squad, with newcomer Inspector Liam Jackson caught firmly in the middle. A fun, fast-paced adventure for those looking for a well-written, contemporary whodunnit with plot twists and turns and an ensemble cast you can fall in love with. NB: This book follows British English spelling and usage, and contains some Australian slang. Clean read: no graphic violence, sex, or strong language. Genre: humorous, cozy mystery series, amateur sleuths, international mystery, police procedural
Enjoying the series but finding main protagonist more annoying as I get through the books. Stories reminiscent of Agatha Christie storyline but not atmosphere. Im on this one, the third one now. Takes me 2-3 nights to get through these cozies.
