so-soI don‘t want to hate on anyone‘s memoir, but this didn‘t do it for me. The last 2 hours of the audiobook were romantically compelling, but the rest of the book was not my scene. “Summer camp for adults” sounds like a nightmare. I‘m perfectly fine having left my party days behind me, which is what most of the story centered on rather than deeper exploration of the characters‘ relationships. I did like that it read like a novel, though.
panI think this one belongs to the Millennials. The parties, the drinking and the dating dramas simply weren‘t interesting to me. But I‘m glad he figured himself out.
pickThis was a fabulous memoir that tells the story of first loves, exploring their sexuality and having a great share house in Montauk in the summer of 2013. Very well written, considering Glynn is an editor for a publisher I would expect nothing less. I enjoyed his story telling about his summer of exploration.
