"He heads it....GOOOOAALL!"
I really liked the soccer ball that looked like a glove. 10/10.
2011, published by Marshall Cavendish Corporation
Great rhythm to the words and I liked the detailed, realistic illustrations and the use of black and white on everything except the soccer balls.
This book should be read to a classroom that wants to learn a new sport. It is highly informative and provides the basics of the sport.
This book was written in 2011. The use of rhyming words is prevelant throughout this book. The soccer balls are the only colorful objects in the book to allow the focus to be on soccer. This is an informational book that allows readers to learn new things about the sport. The point of view in this book refers to a person telling the story, always using "we." I've learned a lot about soccer!
This perfectly sums up the theme in this book! Working together as a team to achieve goals and become a united front!
“We practice playing as a team”
I just love the illustrations in this book! The details are absolutely unreal! The authenticity and value of the lights and darks are so captivating and really draw a reader in! It amazes me even to see the details in the hair!
2011. This point of view picture book dives into the importance of illustrations and content! This book has the most authentic illustrations i‘ve ever seen! The use of color only on important objects and the detailed children all down to hair is incredible! I believe this book could definitely appeal to children, those especially soccer players! The text/pictures develop the theme of teamwork by showing children working together to achieve success!
