Mill goes to school is one of those books that is good to teach kids important lessons about how to treat other students. Milk is honestly pretty spoiled so it's good that she went through what she did so she knows how to treat others.

I like that the pictures are made with real food with wire frames.

I love peanut butter and cupcake!! The rhyming in the book is so fun and every time it's a guaranteed laugh from the kids. I'm for sure reading it in my future classroom and that is a fact. It's a great story about making new friends and treating everyone nicely.

I dont know who papa will be, but I hope he plays the harmonica.

The pictures in this book looks like they were drawn by a kid...but in a good way. It also has some good elements of imagination in it, while bringing up the fun memories everyone has with their grandparents.

Theodore Roosevelts children didnt just have pets, they ran a zoo.

After reading this, I realized I dont want to be president anymore.

This book is like a nice trivial history of the presidency for kids. They get to learn simple facts like the names of presidents and the sons and grandsons that's were presidents. I think it's a nice introductory history to the presidency because every kid does want to be president.

Book of the year winner
The quiktmaker is like a mother Teresa character which is so great. She just knits her way out of the craziest situations and I think that is a good way to desk with your problems. Takes a while to read though, not optimal for younger kids.

Oh this one is going to get some laughs for sure. Mr. Mumble runs into so many words because no one can understand him. K can imagine reading it to kids and all of them giggling. He acquires he oddest animals.

I like that this book has the whole "sleep tight, (insert farm related thing)" that the kids can participate in. I dont like the pictures one bit. They're ugly and dont seem to appeal to what kids like from pictures. If I had to redo this book that's what I would change.

Oh kids are going to love this book. It's very funny because of how dumb the bunnies are. It's also a good way to teach kids how to do things by showing them how not to do things.

Awh this one is cute. Billy is being a very frustrating child with rabbit but mama still loves him. I like that they are bears because it makes kids like this book more.

This is a twist on the goldilocks folk tale. Instead of goldilocks, its santa who breaks into the three bears house. This is a good seasonal book to read to the kids around Christmas time. It was definitely written in a way that lends itself to reading to kids.

Grandfather buffalo was old and slow, but he was still strong.

Grandfather buffalo acts exactly like s grandfather. So nice.

This book is so cute. The grandfather buffalo stops to help the mother and I think it is a good book for making kids want to help others so they can be like grandfather buffalo.

A good story to teach kids about beginning, middle, and end. It's also an underdog story because no one thinks a fly can be a pet, but of course it can it can do anything just like the kids you read it to what a great lesson.

I like this poem

A collection of poems that will teach kids about history and empathy of others. If I'm being honest, I dont love the pictures in this book. They just seem overly detailed and complex and they dont serve much purpose with the poems. Poems are nice, pictures need to calm down on the page.

This is an interesting poetry book because all the poems come from one word. It's very fun to read the words as they seem to fall down the page. Would read again just for fun. Seems like the fractured way the words are written is good for teaching reading skills.

They left the way that animals leave. Silently, without making a fuss.

Now I want a pet bear.

I love that this book is actually based on real events. Crazy to think that a bear way hanging out in WW2. It seems like an interesting story to tell that also teaches kids about history.

And they all went for a swim!

This book adds a new element to the classic 3 little pigs story. I liked that he used his problem solving skills to get away from the big bad wolf. I dont love the pictures, but that might just be personal preference.
