“Then the little pig went and fetched his two brothers and their mother, and they still live happily in the little brick house.”

Again the book I am writing about is the Three Little Pigs by Bernadette Watts. I really enjoyed this interpretation of the classic. Great illustrations!
I couldn‘t find the three little pigs by Bernadette Watts on this app so I plugged in this book instead. I really loved the illustrations in this story. They remind me of Monet‘s paintings. I think this is a sweet and fun classic that will never grow old. It teaches the importance of hard work and dedication.
“I will huff and I will puff and I will blow your house in.“
I read the three little pigs. This story was a great and easy read. It was simple and direct. The illustrations are cute and detailed. Easy to gain children's attention.
This book would be great for younger kids who are just learning about fables and can find meaning in the stories.
“Then the little pig went and fetched his two brothers and their mother, and they still live happily in the little brick house”
I think this would be a good book to show children that there can be multiple endings to a story. If you did this lesson though, you would have to have multiple editions of the three little pigs books. It‘s interesting because typically kids have already read or heard of this tale, but the ending is not what they could‘ve expected.
I read “The Three Little Pigs” by Bernadette Watts but it didn‘t appear to be in this app. The book is very interesting though because the ending of the three little pigs was unique. When the fox went to the brick house, he wanted to break in through the chimney. The pig outsmarted the fox and put a fire in his fireplace. The Fox then left the pigs alone.
“and they still live happily in the little brick home.”
The story gave a good lesson about listening to your parents and learning from mistakes.
The Three Little Pigs by Bernadette Watts was published in 2012. This book was a nice story and had beautiful illustrations that gave a warm, home feeling. The story was repetitive but good because children would catch on to what was going to happen.
"The kindhearted man gave all the bricks to the pig."
I love the simplistic pictures.
This book captures the story just how I remember it. The pictures truly capture the essence of the three little pigs and the big bad wolf. I truly enjoyed the simplicity yet strength that the pictures had on characterization. This is a good book for children to read and put a picture to the words that they already know.
TRADTIONAL LITERATURE
The three little pigs- “oh please, kind man,” said the little pig, “let me have some bricks to build myself a house.” The kindhearted man gave all the bricks to the pig.
The three little pigs- the illustrations are so adorable in this book. I think using this book to introduce the story to young children would be such a good idea. The ending is also happier instead of the other little pigs being eaten up.
The three little pigs- the theme of this book is that it pays off to put in more time and effort into things that matter. This book has tons of repetition. Some familiar motifs are the wolf, the 3 pigs, bricks, straw, and sticks.
