These classic fairytales are a must have in the classroom. You can never go wrong with the tales from Brothers Grimm. I hope to be able to read these stories with my future students and share the classic stories with generations to come.

One thing I found interesting is that some of the classic titles were a little different, such as Little Red Cap

This books tells many classic fairytales that are all just slightly different in their own unique way. I really liked this book and thought the small illustrations going along with each story were super cute and eye catching.

I loved that that there were multiple different stories within this book, I think that since there weren‘t many illustrations younger kids may have a problem imagining the story in their head. But I really like this picture.

Traditional lit. Tales from Grimm is an interesting book that has lots of original stories that children will love. I read Hansel and Gretel because I remember reading it as a kid. Overall, this book is great for early childhood.

Tales from Grimm is an interesting book. I think children will enjoy reading different versions of the stories that they already know.

The is a storybook with few illustrations. This would be a great one to read aloud and have the kids create images in their minds!

I read “Briar-Rose” because I didn‘t think I had read it before. I found it interesting because it is a fairly similar plot to Sleeping Beauty. Mostly due to the sleeping part. The Disney movie actually bases the princess off of Briar-Rose...although, very few people know that. In the Disney version, she is called Princess Aurora.

I read Rapunzel and I especially noticed that the telling of the story is more like the original than some retellings where the prince is not blinded. The illustrations were also more 2D than 3D, which I think added to the overall feel of the story

I love that there were multiple fairy tales in this book. I also loved the illustrations and how colorful they were. They almost looked like water color paintings. Even the font mimicked medieval times.
