I enjoyed this collection of stories of women from Ukraine and Russia navigating their relationships with men now that they live in the U.S.

2009 Sami Rohr Prize awardee. Debut short story collection about Soviet immigrants to the US. Polished, MFA feel that made me think deeply about the material. My favorite was "The Repatriates," about how people cheat each other, both personally and professionally.
