The work of a Guardian is never done. I didnt even get a week off before the goddess called us in for our next assignment. Witchlings, none more than fifteen years old, have been going missing, and we had to find out why. That meant I had to deal with witches, and the memories of my childhood that came with it. I have to work with Alasdair to track down the missing teens and save the day whilst trying to navigate the treacherous waters of our fledgling relationship. Knowing that the goddess made us for each other doesnt erase my past and all of the scars that come with it. Falling in love is the scariest thing Ive ever done. Of course, nothings ever simple. The missing witchlings are just beginning of a dark path that I have no choice but to walk down. The supernal world is fracturing, dangerous politics are bubbling beneath the surface. One false move could ignite everything. Sometimes, if we want to save the world, we have to get our hands dirty. M/m Urban Fantasy with bisexual wolf shifter hero.

Reading Celestial Bones - the crew is guarding the bones of a deadish gods so necromancers don‘t find them and raise him up. The crew is suspicious - and given the description of the book that‘s probably with good reason.

Book three doesn‘t appear to be in the database.

I‘ve noticed that the author uses “and such” a lot. I noticed it in the last book and I‘m only a few pages in this one and it‘s already started. I don‘t recall it being used so much in the first book. I‘ve read another book by this author but it‘s been awhile so maybe it‘s a thing they do???

Pickpick

Strong second book with more elaboration in the magical system. Lots of references to a big event, that‘s covered in another series, and now there are supernals that want the world to know about they exist so now there‘s magic politics. On to book three, and then maybe the other two series in this universe.

Magic brownies = pot brownies???
