Certainly the most somber of the four, this one is a quiet examination of fear and the insidiousness and silence of the fear of governmental oversight and retaliation even if it doesn‘t actually come. I found fascinating parallels to the experience of living with China‘s “Social Credit” system and next door to hardline Hindutuva nutcases in India so I suppose it, more than anything, shows just how much fear is a truly universal shared experience.
