This is my favorite series to read at home with my children, who range from kindergarten, first and fourth grade. Aaron Blabey‘s, The Bad Guys Guide to Being Good is the perfect book to introduce children to graphic novels. The font and illustrations are fun to read for all ages. This book is great for assisting monotone readers, as the font and frequent onomatopoeia help students visualize sounds according to the theme.

Students will love working with the content of the series in this lesson plan provided by one cool teacher! The plan also includes text to text connection with another one of my favorites, The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs.
