It arrived!

I read the first book in this series and it was mindblowingly fantastic.
And inredibly human main character but also a very strong, very believeable mystery.

Read it! You won't be sorry.

Set in Victorian London, this is the second in the Leo Stanhope series (at least I‘m hoping it‘ll be a series!). A woman is murdered, Leo is implicated, and so he decides to try and solve it and look after her children too. A story of family secrets, sibling rivalry and poverty. Leo is managing to keep his secret so far, but will he continue to when someone else from his past knows? This was even better than the first book! Worth a read!

Second in the Leo Stanhope series, amateur detective with a difference! All I can say, really, is that it‘s another fabulous story which I read via the Pigeonhole app. It contains all the right ingredients for an intriguing and fast paced thriller - plenty of twists and turns and the odd red herring, along with bags of atmosphere. It‘s well written and entertaining. In short, a gripping murder mystery which kept me engaged throughout.
