I got totally sucked in by this book. My Kindle page tracker was deceiving- made it seem like there was more book left after the plot twist, when really it was the book club reading guide. I would recommend to those who like psychological suspense. The cover blurb isn't kidding about the plot twist at the end. It was a punch in the gut that I never saw coming.

Holy plot twist, Batman! And I'm only 92% done with the book - where can the author possibly be going after this? I am forced to get some sleep before my older kid's first day of school tomorrow, but you BET I thought hard about just staying up and finishing this book!

Now focusing on this one. It's been half-read for awhile, but library holds got in the way. Hoping to finish this in the next couple of days. It's been good so far.

The plot twist shocked me. I laughed, I cried. There are beautiful sentences in this book, that made me wonder how Cassella knew me so intimately.

I liked how this book made me cry. I liked how the characters weren't transparent, and how there wasn't a "bad" or evil character, but they were actually very real people, all with faults that you could find in any person you may love. It was quick and breezy, but intense and very real, all at once
