The book has descriptive and relatable words for children to relate to. The illustrations are simple, but entertaining enough to keep reading.
My favorite quote is, “'You know, you really wear me out. But I love you anyways.“
It reveals the common experiences a child might go through, or the things that they might think. The book is relatable and fun for kids because they can see themselves within the book.

“Olivia has a little brother named Ian. He's always copying. Sometimes Ian just won't leave her alone, so Olivia has to be firm.“

This book brought back so many great memories for me. I can't wait to share this story with my students so that they're able to fall in love with the book like I did.

This book is a Caldecott winner, and it was super nostalgic for me to read! I loved this book when I was younger, and I still feel the same about it now. I think that this is an easy to follow along with and charming story that would appeal to any age range. I think this is a great pick for the classroom.
