Nancy Drew 53: The Sky Phantom | 
panSorry Nancy, but this was a major bust. It deviates from some of the formula in distracting ways, the major plot points of the mysterious cloud and some sort of revolution are absurd, and there‘s extreme overuse of the phrases “girl detective,” “girl sleuth,” “young detective,” and similar (like, every other page, no joke). Also the cowboy ranch setting is stolen from Nancy #5, where it‘s done better.
