I enjoyed this but I also LOVE time travel books - the theories of how it might happen and the reactions of characters are always fascinating. I don‘t quite get the mechanics of how the alexandrite ring was involved but that‘s ok. A fun drama and thoughts to consider on time, attitudes, and control. Plus, I love the gem - it‘s my birthstone. And this book has cherry pie, 🍒 🥧 👍

BkClubCare @ValerieAndBooks - and!? Both this and Paper Wasp had a character with last name Hightower. It rather freaks me out how much this book reaches into THAT book. shudder 4y

ValerieAndBooks Wow, that‘s weird! And Hightower isn‘t that common of a name (in spite of the fact that I actually have some ancestors with that last name 😂)! 4y
