pickI often wonder what women in other era really went through and what their lives were like. I had found this one for Read Harder and really enjoyed it. I have been trying to find more memoirs but maybe epistolaries is the way to go.

Spent some time at the local Independence Day Parade! The walk back to the cottage made us all a little sleepy. This little one was having falling asleep in bed so he joined me while I read. He was enjoying Letters about Thanksgiving at the homestead as he drifted to sleep.

pickLoved this book of letters with it‘s quirky characters and amazing tales of frontier life. Zebbie, Cora Belle, the twins, Sedalia and Regalia and more bring the Wyoming Territory to life.
so-soElinore Pruitt Stewart sounds like a fascinating woman. Her letters do offer a glimpse into a Wyoming homestead in the early 20th century, but after finishing them I realized that it whet my appetite but did not satisfy my hunger for the topic.
