pickThis was very entertaining! I've noticed a lot of low star reviews, and I can see where that comes from as there's a lot that's happening in the story. It's a little all over the place but in an interesting way. I definitely kept an open mind in going into this, and it was fun, I enjoyed the characters and the monsters. The references to time traveling and split universes were intriguing, and I'm glad I read it.

so-soThis YA fantasy about a pair of friends who disappeared into their favorite book has a fantastic, if familiar, premise. Unfortunately, the story didn‘t live up to its promise. The world inside the book never came together for me and the pacing of the story just seemed off. I think one more round of editing/revising would have solved most if not all of these problems.
