I loved how the illustrator used a simplistic approach towards the illustrations. They carried out much meaning and displayed what is going on in the story as well.

The poems I read from this book all had a lot of alliteration from them. The poems emphasize the letter that is being repeated, showing the alliteration in the writing.

Mehso-so

Although I only read the first few poems in this book, I enjoyed the ones I read. They were all sort of old-fashioned poetry, and I liked them. I think this book would be beneficial to teachers because it has so many different poems that could be used for many different things.
