Happy New Year! Welcome to the #URC2023. 52 books did not fit legibly on a bingo card, so have a tidy little list. Feel free to tag me with your entries throughout the year. If you want to make a bingo card-ish image like this for your entries, just put your book in the same spot as the prompt. It just occurred to me I should make blanks of these!

To get the year started, I picked a possible option for “The first book of a well-known author“.

This was my first time reading LeGuin‘s work & I can‘t wait to read more. I loved the story of Semley‘s necklace & its parallels with Rip Van Winkle. I also how it questioned definitions of intelligence & class. Above all, it was a fun story-I mean flying cats-need I say more?

2BR02B I love those editions of the Hainish Cycle! Haven't managed to track down Planet of Exile yet, though. 8y
